TERRAMASTER T12-500 Pro NAS File Server with Intel Core i7-1255U, 16GB RAM, 12 bays
The TerraMaster T12-500 Pro is an advanced NAS file server designed for small and medium-sized businesses that need a high-performance, secure, and scalable data storage system. It is equipped with a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor clocked at up to 4.7 GHz, 16 GB of DDR5 memory expandable to 64 GB, and 12 SATA drive bays, it offers up to 288 TB of storage capacity. Two 10GbE ports, support for M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 drives, hardware encryption, and extensive backup features make this device ideal for use as both a central file repository and a corporate backup server.
Performance Designed for Working with Large Datasets
At the heart of the device is an Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads, which reaches a frequency of up to 4.7 GHz in Turbo mode. This configuration ensures smooth support for multiple users simultaneously, as well as efficient execution of tasks related to backup, synchronization, and file sharing. The server is equipped with 16 GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory, which can be expanded up to 64 GB. This allows the device to be easily adapted to the company’s growing needs without having to replace the entire infrastructure.
Up to 288 TB of storage for business growth
The chassis offers as many as 12 bays compatible with 3.5" HDDs, 2.5" HDDs, and SSDs. The maximum raw capacity is up to 288 TB (when using 12 drives with a capacity of 24 TB each). Hot-swap support allows drives to be replaced without powering down the device, which minimizes downtime and simplifies storage management. Additionally, two M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 slots allow you to use high-speed SSDs as cache, increasing data read and write performance.
High-Speed Network Connectivity for Demanding Environments
The TerraMaster T12-500 Pro is equipped with two 10GbE ports that can operate in link aggregation mode. This solution enables very high transfer speeds and efficiently supports multiple users simultaneously. In practice, this translates to faster file access, shorter backup times, and more efficient collaboration among teams working on shared resources. These connectivity options are complemented by an HDMI port and high-speed USB 3.1 Type-A and USB-C ports with transfer rates of up to 10 Gb/s.
Comprehensive Data Protection and Advanced Backups
The device serves as an integrated backup server, offering the comprehensive Business Backup Suite. It includes tools for centrally backing up employee computers, synchronizing data, creating snapshots, and recovering data after a failure. Thanks to the Snapshot feature, it is possible to quickly restore previous versions of files, providing effective protection against accidental data deletion or ransomware attacks. The solution imposes no limits on the number of backup jobs or data storage capacity, allowing you to develop flexible data protection strategies.
Enterprise-Class Security
The TerraMaster T12-500 Pro employs multiple mechanisms to secure data and access to resources. It supports AES encryption for volumes and shared folders, OTP authentication, SSL certificates, and protection against unauthorized login attempts. Additionally, the TOS system offers a firewall, integration with Active Directory and LDAP services, and the HyperLock feature, which enhances the protection of stored data. As a result, the server can be used in both small offices and more demanding business environments.
Quiet operation and 24/7 readiness
Despite its large capacity and high performance, the device operates quietly enough for an office environment. Three intelligently controlled fans ensure effective cooling of the components, automatically adjusting their speed to the current load. The noise level is just 24.5 dB(A), allowing you to use the server without unduly affecting your work comfort. Low power consumption in disk hibernation mode further helps reduce operating costs during everyday use.
