Compact 75% layout with 81 keys
The ONIKUMA MT501 features a 75% layout, which reduces the device’s size without sacrificing the most important keys needed for gaming and everyday work. Users have 81 keys at their disposal, including a row of function keys and separate arrow keys. The keyboard’s smaller size leaves more free space on your desk and provides more room to move the mouse, which is especially practical during fast-paced gaming sessions.
Three Connection Methods
The keyboard offers three connection modes, allowing you to tailor the connection method to your hardware and personal preferences. Options include Bluetooth wireless connectivity, a 2.4 GHz connection via the included receiver, and a wired mode using a detachable USB-C cable. The ability to choose between wireless operation and a classic wired connection increases the keyboard’s versatility and allows you to use it comfortably in various workstation setups.
2000 mAh Battery and USB-C Power
The built-in 2000 mAh battery provides approximately 20 hours of use, so you don’t have to reach for the power cord often when working wirelessly. Charging is done via the widely used USB-C connector, and a detachable cable is included with the keyboard. The device’s operating voltage is 5 V, while the operating current is less than 150 mA.
RGB Backlighting and Multimedia Dial
The RGB backlighting accentuates the ONIKUM MT501’s gaming-inspired design and adds colorful lighting effects to your computer setup. In the upper-right corner of the chassis, there is also a multimedia dial, providing convenient access to supported functions without the need for additional controls. The combination of backlighting and a compact design makes the keyboard a great fit for both a gaming setup and a more minimalist desk.
Quiet keys for gaming and everyday use
The ONIKUMA MT501 uses a membrane key design that reduces noise while typing and gaming. The keys have a rated lifespan of up to 8 million keystrokes, so the keyboard is designed for regular use. The key travel of 4.0 ± 0.5 mm provides a tactile feel when pressing the keys, and the compact dimensions of 330 × 140 × 40 mm make it easy to place the keyboard even on a smaller desk.
