COLMI R02 Smart Ring, size 12
The COLMI R02 Smart Ring in size 12 (21.3 mm) in black is a lightweight and discreet smart ring that combines health monitoring with sports features. The device measures heart rate and blood oxygen levels (SpO2), analyzes sleep, and tracks daily activity and workouts across 21 sports modes. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, it works with the QRing app, saves data for later synchronization, and its IP68 water resistance and included charging case ensure convenient use for up to 6–7 days on a single charge.
Compact design and comfort
The ring is designed for maximum comfort during daily use. Weighing just 4.7 g and only 2.7 mm thick, you’ll quickly stop noticing it. It doesn’t restrict hand movements and doesn’t get in the way while writing, doing physical work, or working out. This means you can wear it continuously day and night without needing to take it off. This, in turn, allows for continuous data collection, even during moments that are often overlooked by larger devices.
Health and Vital Signs Monitoring
The COLMI R02 continuously monitors key vital signs, such as heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). Measurements occur automatically in the background, meaning you don’t have to manually activate each function. This makes it easier to notice changes in your body based on activity, stress, or rest. Data is stored in the device’s memory, so even if you don’t have your phone with you, nothing will be lost. After syncing with the app, you can analyze the results in a broader context and observe long-term changes.
Sleep and Recovery Analysis
One of the ring’s strongest features is sleep tracking, which runs automatically every night. The device recognizes sleep stages, such as light and deep sleep, and records total rest time. This allows you to check not only how much you sleep, but also how effectively your body recovers. Data is stored locally and synced with the app in the morning, providing a complete picture of your sleep without the need for a constant connection. This feature will be especially appreciated by those who don’t like wearing a watch to bed.
Sports modes and activity
The ring offers 21 sports modes covering the most popular forms of exercise. Whether you choose walking, running, or general training, the device tracks key activity metrics. This includes steps taken, distance covered, calories burned, and duration of the workout. This allows you to better control the intensity of your workout and gradually increase your activity level. Regular data tracking also makes it easy to track your progress and stay motivated.
Connectivity and Compatibility
Bluetooth 5.0 handles communication, ensuring a stable connection and low power consumption. Once paired with the QRing app, all data is sent to a single location where it is presented in an easy-to-read format. Synchronization is fast and requires no complicated setup. The ring is compatible with Android 4.4 and newer, iOS 8.0 and newer, and Harmony OS, allowing you to easily connect it to both older and newer smartphones.
Charging Case and Battery Life
The included case serves as a practical docking station that makes it easy to both store and charge the ring. Simply place it in the designated spot to start charging via magnetic contacts. The ring itself offers a battery life of 6–7 days, allowing you to use it without frequently reaching for the charger. A full charge takes about an hour, so even a short break is enough to restore full functionality. This solution works well in everyday use, where simplicity and speed of operation matter.
Durability and Materials
The titanium alloy casing increases resistance to scratches and daily wear and tear. As a result, the ring better withstands contact with hard surfaces and retains its aesthetic appearance for longer. The inner lining made of hypoallergenic resin improves wearing comfort and reduces the risk of irritation. This is particularly important for a device worn for many hours a day. IP68 water resistance allows you to use the ring while washing your hands, working out, or coming into contact with water without having to remove it.
How to choose the right size
Choosing the right size is crucial for comfort and measurement accuracy. To do this, simply wrap a thin string or thread around your finger, mark where it meets, and measure the length. Compare the result with the size chart. The model is available in sizes 8 (18.1 mm), 9 (18.9 mm), 10 (19.8 mm), 11 (20.6 mm), and 12 (21.3 mm), allowing it to fit a variety of users. For greater accuracy, it is best to take the measurement in the evening, when fingers naturally have a slightly larger circumference than in the morning.
