SMALLRIG EN-EL15c Camera Battery (orange)
The SMALLRIG EN-EL15c 4966 is a lithium-ion battery designed for select Nikon cameras, featuring its own USB-C port for convenient recharging. It can be charged using a power bank, power strip, car charger, or dedicated charger, making it easier to prepare the battery for use both at home and on the go. The cell, with a nominal capacity of 2400 mAh, ensures long runtime, and USB-C charging at up to 5 V / 2 A allows the battery to be fully charged in about 2.5 hours. The model is fully decoded, so it works with compatible cameras without displaying warning messages.
Convenient USB-C Charging
The built-in USB-C port reduces the need to rely solely on a traditional battery charger and offers greater flexibility when working away from home or the studio. The ability to connect the battery to a power bank or car charger, among other options, comes in handy when shooting on the go, when access to a standard power source may be limited. The kit includes a 0.6-meter USB-A to USB-C cable. An indicator light makes it easy to monitor the charging process—a red light indicates charging, while a green light indicates that charging is complete.
Stable and Safe Power Supply
The battery features a high-quality cell and an electronic circuit designed to ensure stable voltage and current during operation. The nominal voltage is 7.2 V, the energy capacity is 17.28 Wh, and the maximum output current reaches 5 A, which ensures proper power supply to compatible photographic equipment. The design also includes protection against over-discharge. The casing is made of PC and ABS materials, which ensure adequate durability during everyday use.
Compatible with Nikon cameras
The battery measures 55.7 × 39.3 × 19.9 mm and matches the size of the original battery, ensuring it fits properly in the camera’s battery compartment. The SMALLRIG EN-EL15c is compatible with Nikon cameras including the Z8, Z7 II, Z7, Z6 II, Z6, Z5, Zf, Z6 III, ZR, D850, D810, D810A, D780, D750, D610, D500, D7500, and D7200.
Lightweight and Easy to Spot
The orange casing clearly distinguishes the battery from typical black devices, making it easier to find in a camera bag or backpack. Weighing approximately 80 g, this spare battery doesn’t add much extra weight when transporting your gear. The matte finish of the casing improves grip comfort, and the PC and ABS construction enhances durability against typical daily wear and tear. The product is certified by FCC, UL, UKCA, CE, RoHS, and ISED.
