SMALLRIG NP-F970 Battery Charger
The set includes the SMALLRIG NP-F970 4834 four-channel battery charger, designed for fast and convenient charging of NP-F series batteries; it is compatible with the NP-F550, NP-F570, NP-F750, and NP-F970. The device supports USB-C Power Delivery up to 100 W and allows you to charge four batteries simultaneously. The set also includes four NP-F970 batteries, each with a capacity of 7,800 mAh and energy of 56.16 Wh, a 100 W USB-C to USB-C cable, and the necessary documentation. This solution is particularly useful when working with cameras, monitor screens, panel lights, or video transmitters, where having several fully charged batteries on hand helps minimize interruptions in recording.
Four Channels with Automatic Charging Adjustment
Each of the four channels can operate at a power level adjusted to the detected battery model, with available output parameters of 8.4 V at 0.9 A, 1.8 A, or 2.5 A. The charger automatically selects the appropriate current based on the type of battery inserted, making it easy to charge different models from the NP-F family simultaneously. The maximum USB-C power output is 100 W at up to 20 V / 5 A; therefore, to achieve high performance, it is recommended to use a USB-C power adapter with a power rating of at least 80 W. The design also features short-circuit and overcurrent protection for each port, enhancing safety during extended charging sessions.
Easy-to-read OLED screen with parameter display
The built-in OLED screen allows you to check the charging status of each of the four batteries in real time without the need for additional devices. With a short press of a button, you can toggle between information on the battery level and voltage of individual channels, USB-C input parameters, and operating temperature. The display shows, among other things, voltage, current, power, and temperature, making it easier to monitor the entire charging process. Holding the button down longer also displays information about the device model, specifications, and version.
