ACT CAT6A F/UTP solid twisted pair cable, PVC, AWG 23, CPR: B2ca, 500 m. Cable length: 500 m, Cable standard: Cat6a, Cable shielding: F/UTP (FTP), Product colour: Grey
Permanent twisted pair cabling also known as vertical or horizontal cabling is used above ceilings and in cable ducts and connects to the wall outlet at the work space. From the outlet patchcables are used to connect to the notebook, docking station or pc.
Permanent cabling is typically installed by installers and because of that you can also see the term installation cable used.
Permanent cabling contains more copper then patchcables / patchcords and because of this is excellent for bridging longer distances. Because of the usage of more copper in a solid wire permanent cabling is also know as solid cabling. Solid / permanent cables are less flexible then patchcables, patchcables are also known as zipcords.
